![]() ![]() ![]() "What would you like me to help with? You almost have this kitchen spotless." Claude spoke up from behind me, he was standing so close to me I could feel his warm breath on my neck, which caused the blush to deepen. I blushed faintly and then got back to work. "Claude, I want you to stay here and help out (Y/N) with the cooking." Then proceeded to walk away, leaving Claude and I in the kitchen alone. He smiled faintly before turning to face Claude. So I wanted there to be enough desserts for everyone. "Thank you my lord." I said as I began to make some batter for the next cake, there was going to be a ton of guests tonight. "Amazing as always (Y/N)." He said while licking his fingers clean. Pausing momentarily in his rant to enjoy the flavors as he always did. Despite how stupid they are." He said and then quickly stuffed the praline into his mouth. Especially if I am to keep on the good side of most of the lords here. "I know, they're all just so annoying and bothersome. He grumbled quietly under his breath as he took the praline. "Alright, just one, we need to save the rest for the guests tonight." I said while cutting a piece of the delicious treat off of the tray for him and handing it to him. I mentally rolled my eyes and smiled faintly. "Can I have some now? Please?" Alois asked, pulling the puppy eyes on me. Every once in awhile he would show the hint of a smile. There was no hiding it, I found him really attractive, despite the lack of emotion. "A few pastries, some cakes, cupcakes, and also those pralines that you love so much my lord." I said with a small smile, glancing towards Claude. Because of my cooking skills, which even passed that of Claude's, he tended to favor me, which meant I wasn't 'punished' as often as the other servants. "(Y/N)! What are you baking? It smells wonderful!" Chirped the blonde haired boy that came strutting through the door, otherwise known as Lord Trancy to the servants. I can't say that my writing was very good but still I enjoyed it nonetheless. I kept it to myself, only writing in a single pocket sized journal whenever I got the chance and no one else was around me to see me do it. Cooking happened to be one of my passions, while writing was my other one, though no one knew about my writing passion. I sighed and wiped some sweat off of my forehead, right now I was cleaning up the floors while the desserts were baking, which were multiple different sweets that I had learned to make when I was younger. I rushed around the kitchen, doing multiple things at once since Lord Trancy was holding a ball tonight and everyone else was busy, including Claude. ![]()
